THE FHP VISION
If Hollywood won’t make it, we will!
We create productions that the Old Hollywood Empire is too scared, too broke, and too white to make room for.
Traditional studios and investors fear original stories. They take billion-dollar gambles on safe, outdated IP, developing it in private while closing doors on new voices and talent. They force-feed endless sequels while calling it innovation. The system protects familiarity, access, and itself.
For the last decade, crowdfunding has allowed Fuck Hollywood Productions to build cinematic trust with audiences worldwide. Our films have reached large audiences and proved independent, community-driven cinema works. For example, our 16mm-shot, Blaxploitation and superhero-inspired short film, Supernigga, received 370,000 views on YouTube in just four weeks.
By letting the community fund and shape the movies, we reduce risk, maximize creative freedom, and deliver the stories audiences actually want: radical, unapologetic, and progressive cinema versus stale stories made solely for profit. You can’t be the people’s studio without building with the people.
-
Our philosophy is simple:
If Hollywood won’t make it, we will!
We believe filmmaking should be radical, unapologetic, and progressive. Stories belong to the audience, not the gatekeepers. By staying independent, low-budget, and community-driven, we make work that challenges the Hollywood system. -
Fuck Permission: We don’t rely on VC money, gatekeepers, or waiting for approval.
Fuck Secrecy: We keep our process open from concept to production, inviting everyone in.
Fuck Ignorance: We share all knowledge, tools, and insights.
Fuck Exclusivity: We build with and for the people, not for corporate profit.
-
Our purpose is to create sustainable, independent cinema while teaching and empowering others to do the same. We open our doors and prove that grassroots filmmaking can thrive outside Hollywood.
Meet the Founder
Daddy Ramazani is a New York-based filmmaker, musician, stand-up comic, and creative radical. And yes, that’s his birth name. Born in Egypt and raised between Ireland and Atlanta, Daddy eventually landed in New York, where he earned a B.A. in Film & TV from NYU and began carving out his own lane.
After more than a decade directing films, music videos for major record labels, commercials, and sketches, Daddy hit the limits of an industry built on outdated systems and closed doors.
Tired of asking for permission, he decided to build something of his own. That decision led to the founding of Fuck Hollywood Productions, aka FHP, an indie film studio, a revolution, and a middle finger to the system.
